Welcome to our new website! We hope you enjoy looking around and finding out more information about Little Bear and University Preschools and Reno daycare and preschool programs.
Little Bear and University preschools offer the best of both worlds: small centers that are personal and ‘home like’, yet still a formal preschool setting to help your child grow during their time in Reno daycare and preschool. Little Bear has been a preschool in Sparks for over 50 years! University Preschool is a more recent preschool in Reno, as a converted house. Both offer daycare and preschool options for kids ages 2-5.
Within our preschool and child care programs, we use small class sizes and high teacher-to-child ratios in order to provide a safe and nurturing environment. This promotes:
- physical development
- social development and interactions
- emotional development and understanding
- intellectual development and reasoning
Our secure environments built by positive relationships help children thrive physically, benefit from their learning experiences, and enhance the development of early social skills. The program encourages each child’s sense of individual worth and belonging in a community.
